Scoala de Valori is a charity which guides pupils and students to find their passion and follow their true potential so that they develop skills and social behaviour which helps them be ready for an ever changing future.
Project Summary
Scoala de Valori charity wanted to develop a gamified experience for empowering students and pupils from all communities to make their own learning and career decisions, based on the best available career intelligence, up-to-date knowledge of route and pathways and an understanding of their own strengths and interests.
Strategy
Analysed the requirements, performed system design and established the process of defining the architecture, interfaces, and data for a system that satisfies the customer’s specific needs. Once this met the needs of the organisation through coherent and efficient systems, next step was to begin to build them into a physical system design that addresses the said requirements. This meant going for a custom developed solution.
Architecture
The solution required a UI application developed in React, connected to a backend service, written in Spring Boot. The communication between the two layers was done through WebSockets. The data was persisted into a relational database, PostgreSQL. The built system was deployed in AWS.
